Emporium

How Emporium works

Emporium is a marketplace for used board games. There's no checkout: buyer and seller agree the deal in chat and finish it in person or by post.

Buying

  1. Find a game

Search the listings or browse the games catalogue to see who is selling a copy.

  2. Add it to your wishlist

Not listed yet? Put the game on your wishlist and we'll email you as soon as someone lists it.

  3. Message the seller

Every listing has a contact button. Ask about condition and completeness, and agree on a price. Watch a listing to keep it at hand.

  4. Meet or ship

Agree on payment and whether you meet up or the seller ships. No money passes through Emporium.

Never miss a game

Add games to your wishlist and we'll email you when someone lists one, so you don't have to keep checking. You can turn the emails off any time in your settings.

Selling

  1. One listing, several games

Add as many games as you like to one listing, each with its own price and condition.

  2. Active for 14 days

A listing stays visible for 14 days and then expires on its own.

  3. Mark games as sold

When a game finds a buyer, mark it sold. The listing ends once everything in it has sold.

  4. Relist when it ends

Expired and cancelled listings wait under My listings. Open one, check the details and put it back up.

Staying safe

  • Be careful with prepayment

Think twice before paying a stranger in advance, and prefer payment methods with buyer protection.

  • Report what looks wrong

Every listing and profile has a report button. We look at every report.
